Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) focuses on teaching people strategies to help them live their best and most productive life. DBT is often used to help people with depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorders, addictions, eating disorders, and PTSD.
There are four core skills learned in DBT Therapy:

Mindfulness - Teaches you to be present with the current moment without judgment, leading to greater understand of your thoughts, feelings, and body's sensations.

Distress Tolerance - Learn how tolerate painful emotions and difficult situations without resorting to harmful behaviors.

Emotion Regulation - Identify, understand, and change unwanted emotions.

Interpersonal Skills - change the way you communicate so you get more out of your relationships. Learn to communicate what you want. Become comfortable saying no.
