What Our Clients and
Colleagues Say About Us
Selina I want to sincerely thank you for all the time, effort and care you have poured into my recovery. It's obvious you are an experienced and well educated therapist but I think what makes you stand out is your genuine love and concern for others. You are making a huge impact, one person at a time.

Selina and her team are warm and inviting, and very knowledgeable in clinical care. For those suffering from PTSD symptoms, Selina provides EMDR and it is extremely helpful. The space is very inviting, clean, and spacious. Psychotherapy is also provided with ketamine and to see therapy along with ketamine is rare but very valuable in the healing journey.

Who Selina Sees
Selina Modality Specialties

Selina Beenen, LCSW
With over 23 years of experience helping adults, adolescents, couples, and families, I believe that therapy begins with creating a safe, compassionate, and trusting relationship. Life can bring unexpected challenges, loss, trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and periods when we simply feel overwhelmed. You don't have to navigate those difficult times alone.
My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and individualized. I take the time to understand each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals and use evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to their needs. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, heal from painful experiences, develop healthier ways of coping, and build greater confidence and self-esteem.
I specialize in working with trauma-related anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, adolescent concerns, parenting challenges, and stress-related issues. I also have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), grief counseling, Family Systems Therapy, and EMDR for trauma. I incorporate Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy when appropriate, using a supportive therapeutic approach to help clients explore difficult emotions, gain new perspectives, and work toward meaningful healing and change.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping hundreds of individuals and families through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. I especially enjoy supporting adolescents and their families as they navigate the complexities of growing up, as well as helping couples work through relationship challenges and reconnect with one another.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship can be an important part of the healing process. Feeling heard, understood, and accepted creates the foundation for exploring painful experiences and developing healthier patterns for the future. Together, we can work toward healing from the past, managing life's challenges in healthier ways, strengthening relationships, and developing a greater sense of peace, confidence, and hope.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but it can also be the beginning of meaningful change. I would be honored to support you on that journey and help you make the most of your life.
