Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Therapy

OCD, or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, is a mental health condition characterized by intrusive, reoccurring thoughts and/or behaviors that cause distress and interfere with daily life. Symptoms of OCD can range from mild to severe and include excessive washing, compulsive counting, hoarding, and intrusive thoughts. A very common therapy modality for OCD is Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), where a client is gradually and safely exposed to their fears to build a sense of control and reduce anxiety over time.
